Description
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES – The IT Manager works under the administrative direction of the
CFO, with minimal supervision and will manage and supervise our organization’s technical operations
which includes overseeing all IT related functions and ensuring all technology systems and applications
support the organization’s goals and objectives.
SUPERVISOR – The IT Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
SUPERVISES – IT technician

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Manage the company’s technology infrastructure, including hardware,
software, and networking systems.
• Develop strategy alongside our parent company (EMCOR), as it relates to the
organization’s IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security,
communication systems).
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including
troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Manage projects related to the implementation of new systems and
technologies.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with
organizational objectives.
• Consult senior-level management to identify business and technology needs
and to optimize the use of information technology.
• Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring the systems
performance.
• Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for
improvement.
• Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of
systems.
• Keep up to date with new and emerging technologies and recommend how
they can be leveraged to improve business operations.
• Provide direction, guidance, and training to staff.
• Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner, including EMCOR
security and compliance.
• Oversee and develop the IT team

EDUCATION: Bachelors or a minimum of 5 years’ experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS – Requires prolonged sitting, some
bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
sufficient to operate required construction equipment including tools, ladders, forklift,
etc. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate
reports. Requires lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally. Work is perform at construction sites both indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
